Decennial experience in schools, involving thousands of students every year. Expert educators transversal competences.

The Federazione, thanks to its Education & Cooperative Culture Office, has encouraged the spread of cooperative values in schools for years, in strict relationship with local enterprises. Its high educational value has led it to become part of the school curriculum for the Province of Trento so that schoolchildren can actively learn about the history, organization, principles and values of cooperation in Trentino.

How to set up and manage a School Cooperative Association, for example, is one of the most complete experiences that a group-class can work on together: providing a combination of knowledge and abilities that encourage the consolidation of the Key Competences recommended by the European Union.

Cooperazione Trentina represents a single system of cooperative enterprises working in different economic sectors and rooted throughout the entire province.

The Federazione Trentina della Cooperazione is an organization that represents, supports, supervises and protects the cooperative movement operating within the province of Trento, bringing together more than 500 cooperatives active in all sectors of production, with approximately 270.000 members.

Cooperation means working together in order to reach a common economic goal in the interests of all its members.

The Cooperazione Trentina, at all levels and forms (enterprises, consortium and the Federazione), identifies itself within the cooperative values stated in the “Declaration of cooperative identity” approved by the International Cooperative Alliance in the Congress of Manchester in 1995 in which “A cooperative is an autonomous association of individuals who decide to join together of their own accord in order to satisfy their economic, social and cultural needs, and their aspirations, through the creation of a democratically owned enterprise”.
